The Montessori Society aims to inform teachers and parents about Montessori and its practice. In the following pages you will find information about Montessori including schools, training, workshops and seminars. You can also find out about Montessori Accreditation and find out where to buy books on and about Montessori and Montessori materials. This information is freely available to everyone – but if you would like to find out more about the benefits of becoming a member of the Montessori Society AMI [UK] and supporting our work please go to our section on membership.
The Montessori Society is affiliated to the Association Montessori Internationale [AMI], the organisation set up by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1929 to ensure that her work would be faithfully reproduced. Its aim is to maintain and further Montessori ideas and principles for the full development of the human being.
