MONTESSORI SCHOOLS UK

Neasden Montessori School

"Neasden Montessori School provides a warm, secure, friendly and vibrant environment. The children are likely to achieve the desirable outcomes in all six areas of learning by the time they are five years old." - an extract from OFSTED.

Our aim is to help each child to realise his/her full potential and to develop a lively enquiring mind in a happy school environment. Neasden Montessori covers a number of different areas, which play an important role in the children's process of learning and nurtures their absorbent minds and sensitive periods.

Montesssori Practical life exercises not only help them to care for themselves and the environment but also help the children to develop good concentration, co-ordination, confidence, independence and to learn good manners.

Montessori Sensorial exercises allow the children to use their senses to learn and to judge different heights, lengths, weights, colours, smells, tastes, shapes and textures.

Reading and writing, arithmetic, geography, history, botany and science provide the children with aids for their intellectual development.

Art and Music have a special place in our daily routine and every year the children at Neasden Montessori perform Summer and Christmas concerts for their parents.
